Trying to imagine how your teeth would look if they were straight is a thing of the past. We can show you a digital video of your teeth now and after the treatment with an Invisalign ClinCheck appointment.
A Clincheck is usually performed after your Free Invisalign Consultation. There is a cost to creating the before & after, however, this is discounted from the price of the treatment if you decide to go ahead.
This all depends on your situation; however, typically the range is between 14 weeks and 18 months, for more serious cases.
This is why all treatments start with our Free Invisalign Consultation.
We can take a good look at your teeth and advise you on which Invisalign treatment is right for you.
If you decide that Invisalign is the right treatment for you, we offer you something called a Clincheck. This process involves making a model of your teeth as they are now and sending it off to Invisalign.
Invisalign then use the model to create a treatment plan for you and convert this into a 3d model. The model allows you to see how Invisalign can move your teeth and over what time frame. The great thing about the Clincheck is that you see a before & after of your teeth before you decide to commit to having the full treatment.
Initially, you meet with a member of our team, from the comfort of your own home, on a Zoom chat, to have your free Invisalign consultation. At this point, we will advise you on the best Invisalign treatment for you.
The second stage is moving to a ClinCheck where we will take an impression of your teeth and send them off to Invisalign to create an accurate before and after of your smile. Once you have this, you can decide if the treatment is right for you.
If after seeing your Invisalign Clincheck you decide to go ahead, we will already have everything we need to start your treatment. We notify Invisalign, and they create your clear-aligners and post them to us. One week later you come back to the practice so we can fit your first clear-aligners and send you home with your first set.
Ove the coming months you will get used to changing your clear-Invisalign-aligners once every two weeks and have the occasional check-up with us to make sure the treatment is on track.
Finally, once the treatment is complete, we will finish off your Invisalign journey with a teeth whitening treatment to add the finishing touches to your new smile.
You will have a night-time aligner that will need to be worn at night when sleep to keep your teeth nice and straight, and by this time you will be used to wearing them anyway.
One of the most popular things about Invisalign is that the aligners can be removed if you need too. So, if you are going out for dinner or have a big meeting where you are conscious of your appearance, you have the option to take the aligners out. However, the aligners are totally clear and such a good fit that most of the time you will forget you have them in.
It stands to reason that you need to wear the aligners as much as possible, but if there is the odd time you don’t, it shouldn’t affect the final outcome.
Pinhoe Dental Centre has been serving the local community for over 60 years, providing a high quality of dental care. Some of our patients have been coming to us since we opened!
Over the years the practice has grown and now we have 7 dental surgeries, with 8 dentists, 2 therapists, a hygienist and 2 oral health educators.
Alongside general dental services, we also provide dental advice and help to the wider community through the Surestart programmes, helping children get a foot up in life. Visiting local schools to educate young students is also part of our oral health education plan. Our dentist Joe also goes to a secure children’s home for disadvantaged kids, to take care of their oral health.
Aditionally, we run a dental nurse training centre, educating the next generation of dental nurses to fulfil their ambitions to enter the profession.
